10 Leadership Quotes From Martin Luther King Jr.

Miguel Lebron • Jan 19, 2021

Yesterday, January 18th, 2021, we celebrated the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. In my household, on MLK day, my wife and I will talk to our daughters about the importance of equality and the impact of the speech titled "I have a dream". We talk to them about the importance of judging an individual not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character. As we bring our children upon the faith that there is a God in the heavens who has created us, we parlay the message of Dr. King with the understanding that everyone is a creation of God and as such, we should treat them with the respect that God intended them to be treated with.

As a leader, there are many lessons we can take from Dr. King and his legacy. I intend on sharing 10 quotes that I believe are impactful as we grow in leadership and strive to serve those around us. The changes we wish to see in our organizations, community, surroundings, all start with us and the Life and legacy that we produce.
